Harrrrrrrrr. Well HB, I dont shop online for parts as often as some, so My expertise remains loyal to the City shop hunter I am.
If you dont got's a AGP Slot then Yup, PCI is the only other route. Again.. Taking me outa my relm of knowledge, I have never bought a PCI graphics card before, And I know they dont run as fast as the AGP ones, but im sure they still screem along.
I run a ATI card, as do many. Alot swear by the NVdia cards, ( I used to run Nvidia.. I like ATI better)
Make sure before you buy a card that you know what your mother board can support. If its a PCI only board im guessin it dosent support High end cards. If I were you Id look for a ATI 9200 128MB card or somthing along that ara. Its a great lil workhorse of a card and at a great price ( I got mine for about 100 Canadian)
Good luck Bro. And about the RAM. If your buyin it and you dont know, make sure you know the limits on what your motherboard can handle. I run 768MB of Pc2100
Aye. Hope you gets some goood shiat mang!

Well personally I would look at a Nvidia card. I believe Thunder went through newegg. A few things that you need to look at though when you go to buy a vid card is also the size of power supply that is in your CPU. I believe when you bought your puter it came with a 250 watt power supply. Which that would put you somewhere in the range of a Nvidia 5700 or 5700 ultra (stay away from a 5700SE) and for a ATI card would be the 9600 or 9700 pro
For the ram you need to look up the model number on your motherboard. the reason for this is if its anything like mine you are going to run into the fact you could have up to 1 gig of ram in any combination of sticks. but to go above 1 gig you have to run 2 1gig sticks. Hope that helps and if you need any other answers you know how to get a hold of me

Well for that card you would be better off to go to Walmart and go with the XFX version of that card.
I think you may want to look a bit thurther for a bit more info on that card as it doesn't show any core speeds and as far as talking to someone with a card or used a 5200 ask your brother
